Guidelines for Oral - Poster Presenter

  • Required to become IRIA member for any presentation.
  • All paper presenters and eposter submitters are requested to bring their presentations in pendrive /soft copy backup at conference venue.
  • All paper and poster authors should inform their permanent/provisional membership number of our association IRIA to info@iria2020.org before 5th January.
  • Those who have not received that number, inform date of your application and name of office/office bearer whom submitted to info@iria2020.org before 5th January.

Guideline for Oral Scientific Paper Presentation :

        • Presentation should be made on MS-PowerPoint using windows or Mac platforms and saved in USB drives.
        • All PowerPoint presentations, you have to send us on said email address on or before 15th January 2020. Use of personal laptops will not be allowed.
        • The first slide of presentation should clearly convey the title of presentation along with the presenter / institution information.
        • Appropriate care should be taken to use your own images/figures. Images or text from any other sources should be done with proper permission only and should be duly acknowledged.
        • The radiological images should be properly cropped and should not convey actual patient information.
        • The presentation time should not exceed 8 min and 2min for discussion.
        • The presentation will be conducted by the Chairpersons whose decision will be final.
        • All Presenters are requested to be well on time for the Presentation in their assigned hall and time. Please confirm the same from website.
        • You will receive your presentation certificate online once your presentation is over.

Guideline for Physical Poster Submission :

        • Selected eposters are invited for physical / printed / hard copy posters to be displayed at the venue.
        • Guidelines for physical posters will be sent to the selected eposter submitters.
        • All poster presenters are requested to carry soft copy of your e-poster (multi-slide PowerPoint) for backup.
        • They should prepare physical/printed/hardcopy poster with super flex (or flex) material.
        • Size of poster (flex banner): Height 4 feet; Width 3 feet (Portrait orientation).
        • In the poster, emphasis should be on high resolution images/photos/diagram with less textural content. Use easy-to-read print size, colour and background contrast.
        • Mention poser ID (e.g. EPNR – 58) on your poster.
        • Presenters who bring printed poster, their e-poster will remain included in e-poster display too.
        • At conference venue, your poster will be allotted a place in the poster gallery area at latter/inner part of trade zone. For layout, see trade tab at www.iria2020.org.
        • Bringing the printed poster, fixing it for display and demounting are presenter’s responsibilities.
        • Poster applying time is 9 AM on 23rd January and demounting will be in afternoon on 26th January.
        • Material will be provided for poster mounting /placement. Any other special material/ help required, contact helpline given on website now.
        • Your constant presence at poster area is not required.
        • Physical posters will be judged by panel of poster evaluation committee for the prizes. For the poster prize; decision of the poster evaluation committee /scientific committee shall be final and binding.
        • Authenticity and accuracy of poster content is responsibility of author(s).
        • Do not indulge in plagiarism.
        • Institutional ethical committee approval is author’s affair.
        • Patient confidentiality should be protected.
        • Avoid commercial reference unless absolutely necessary.
        • The responsibility of claims of anybody or conflict of interest lie with author(s).
        • There is no any financial claim to conference/organisers/committee about posters.
        • Do not use material copyrighted by others.
        • In case of controversy, final decision by scientific committee, IRIA 2020 congress will be binding.
        • Organising committee reserves rights to make new rules or modify any rule in case of unforeseen circumstances.
        • Those Indian Radiologists or Indian Resident in Radiology, who are not either life member or provisional life member of IRIA respectively must become member before IRIA 2020 conference. Acceptance of their abstract/poster is subject to their becoming life member of IRIA.
        • Kindly send your IRIA life membership number or provisional membership number to info@iria2020.org. Those who has not received the number till now, please inform date of your membership application to info@iria2020.org.
